Duo

Scandinavia

Anders Berensson Architects in collaboration with Swedish housing company Sommarnöjen has designed a new housing concept Duo.

Duo is one home in two separate house bodies, one more public for socializing and one private part for resting. The two parts are connected through a glazed entrance. The social part is one open space with a kitchen and a Livingroom with big sliding windows while the private part consists of bathrooms and sleeping rooms and is more enclosed. The clear division into functions in Duo means that socializing with guests can take place in one part of the house without disturbing those who want to go to bed early. Someone can go up early and mess around in the kitchen while others sleep as long as they want.

The house is designed with several sightlines and ways to move in and out of the building. The standard collection has an exciting angle of 105 degrees. If the site requires, the angle can be reduced to 90 degrees or be widen to 135 degrees.

The house comes in four sizes 60 m2, 70m2, 80 m2 and 100m2. The house has one exterior style with a variety of color options and comes in four interior styles. If you want to know more about Duo or are interested in buying one click on this link to learn more.
